ABLE NH along with its partners will work collaboratively with policy makers to help them understand the importance and value of bringing people with disabilities into the conversation. We will work within our communities to identify and encourage families to work with leaders in their own community and become leaders and advocates themselves.
DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES QUALITY COUNCIL
The Developmental Services Quality Coucil was established by the legislature to provide leadership for consistent, systemic review and improvement of the quality of the developmental disability and acquired brain disorder services provided within New Hampshire's developmental services system. A representative of ABLE NH has been appointed to serve on the Council to represent the perspective of people and families supported by the developmental services system.
